Homemade Baking Powder [ Paleo – AIP – Aluminum Free – Corn Free ]

What’s the problem with store-bought baking powder? Well, for those suffering from food allergies and sensitivities, commercial baking powder isn’t the best option as it often contains aluminum and corn. So why eat the yucky ingredients when you can easily make your own baking powder at home?

This recipe is 100% compliant with the strict elimination phase of the Paleo Autoimmune Protocol (AIP).

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons cream of tartar
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
Instructions
  1. Mix cream of tartar and baking soda together until well combined.
  2. Store in an airtight glass container, away from humidity, up to 6 weeks.
