Sheet pan recipes are amazing, indeed! They are super easy to assemble, easy to cook in the oven, easy to clean-up, and flavors from the different ingredients come together to form delicious and tasty meals.
There is more to the process than just piling on all your ingredients on your favorite baking sheet though. Make sure you pair proteins and vegetables that have similar cooking times to ensure that they are uniformly cooked.
If you are just starting, I would definitely use a tried and true recipe instead of pioneering your way through!
Don’t have a sheet pan? No worries! Use a large cake pan instead, or a casserole dish, a glass baking dish, the broiler pan that came with your oven, or simply a large single-use aluminum foil pan from the grocery store.
I wanted to make the process easier for you, so I put together a list with my 10 favorite AIP sheet pan recipes from the wonder web:
1 – Honey Pork Tenderloin with Roasted vegetables from A Squirrel in the Kitchen:
This Honey Pork Tenderloin with Roasted Vegetable recipe is simple, nutritious, and incredibly comforting. Less than 15 minutes of prep time and a whole lot of flavor in the bargain!
2 – Sticky BBQ Chicken with Roasted Slaw from Meatified:
The fun part about this sheet pan BBQ chicken is what you cook up alongside it. Instead of serving the BBQ chicken with a typical cold coleslaw mix, you can roast it up on the sheet tray, too. Omit black pepper for strict AIP.
3 – Cheesy Taters and Bacon from Gutsy By Nature:
You can stop right there because you had me at “cheesy”! Add taters and bacon, and the fact that this AIP recipe is made on a sheet pan… well, I’m in hog heaven!
4 – Sheet Pan Taco Bowls from The Castaway Kitchen:
These taco bowls come together super fast and taste amazing. Warm and saucy yet fresh and tangy!
5 – Sheet Pan AIP Breakfast from Real Food and Love:
Take a sheet pan, throw sliced vegetables underneath the bacon while it cooks, and you’ve got some magical breakfast! So simple by design, this recipe tastes (and smells) heavenly thanks to the bacon fat dripping on the veggies below! Yum!
6 – Cod with Lemon and Olives from Pretend It’s A Donut:
This Sheet Pan Cod with Lemon and Olives is so scrumptious and a perfect spring meal to prepare for your family! Omit pepper for strict AIP.
7 – Roasted Garlic Salmon and Broccoli from The Natural Nurturer:
There is nothing that compliments broccoli or salmon quite like fresh garlic and sea salt. Add the bright flavor of lemon juice, and this meal is just a flavor explosion! Omit black pepper for strict AIP.
8 – Italian Meatballs Buddha Bowl from The Unskilled Cavewoman:
This zesty recipe is a zesty one-pan-wonder and a quick one at that. This meal is ready for hungry tummies in just under an hour.
9 – Lemon-Herb Lamb and Veggies from Autoimmune Wellness:
Angie says, “As I was throwing these lamb meatballs together, I thought how nice the scent of fresh thyme and lemon are together, and that was the finishing touch. I hope you’ll enjoy this super easy and very tasty recipe too!”
10 – Roast Chicken and Veggies Dinner from Tasty Yummies:
This recipe is highly versatile; you change out the veggies depending on the season and your family’s preferences. Here we went with Brussels sprouts and butternut squash, two of our personal favorites – but you can also use cabbage, green beans, squash, peppers, onions or shallots, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes (white or sweet), zucchini, carrots, etc. Go with the best the season has to offer and of course, your family’s favorites. Omit black pepper for strict AIP.
11 – Prosciutto Chicken and Sweet Potatoes from Wendi’s AIP Kitchen:
Look at all those colors! Now, do you have to use three different colors of sweet potato? No, but it makes the dish look prettier, and I believe with all my heart that the more variety we can get in our diet, the better.

I have enjoyed a few of your recipes and newsletters for a couple of years. I began AIP way f eating and used Dr. Sarah Ballantyne’s book and list of foods. I am a believer. I felt relief from various ailments within 3 weeks. Lost 40 lbs in a month and am down 120 lbs in less than a year. I have had the wait off for about 13 months. I am definitely going to become a Member as soon as possible…April 15th. I look forward to it.
