When I started the AIP Reset, I didn’t expect to achieve so much in 30 days!
I started the 30-day AIP Reset with Joanna Frankham to troubleshoot my AIP diet. My main goal was to curb my renewed coffee addiction and decrease my sugar consumption. Pretty easy and straightforward, except nothing turned out to be easy at all. Instead, the AIP Reset was the gateway that allowed me to delve much deeper into my health journey and unravel unexpected issues.
How did I achieve my goals?
Before you ask, yes, I have been able to stop drinking coffee and dramatically reduce my sugar intake in the course of the program. It is not something that magically happened on the first day of the AIP Reset, though. Quitting coffee and sugar turned out to be really hard! With the support of the entire group, I was able to devise a strategy that worked well for me:
Break up your expectations into smaller goals
Breaking up my big goal into smaller steps made it more manageable and therefore more achievable. The support I got from the entire group was tremendously helpful. Just knowing that other people were in the same boat, fighting the same demons, made me feel so much stronger. I was not alone. I was part of something bigger than me and I drew strength and perseverance from the community.
Is the AIP Reset just about food?
It doesn’t matter which goal you have set for yourself when you start the AIP Reset. All aspects of the AIP diet and lifestyle are covered in this program; diet, exercise, relaxation, sleep, stress reduction, meaningful connections with people and the nature surrounding us, etc.
What makes the AIP Reset program unique?
What is truly unique in this program which you won’t get anywhere else is the daily live support from the dedicated coaches and interaction with the other group members.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, the dietary aspect was just the tip of the iceberg for me. As I worked on my cravings, a can of worms opened up and I was suddenly facing much deeper issues that needed to be addressed in my lifestyle.
The 30-Day AIP reset program empowered me to take the next step in my health journey
As you have probably guessed by now, the deeper issue I am talking about is related to the ongoing stress we are all facing in our lives. Not the acute stress of a sudden crisis, but the insidious hidden stress we are subjected to every day, which is absolutely lethal for our health and well-being.
The AIP Reset program made me aware that I needed to slow down and truly take care of myself. Thanks to the daily topics and the live Q&A with the coaches, I was able to implement new strategies to reduce daily stress and relieve the constant pressure from life.
